EDITORIAL: Papua New Guinea Prison

Human Rights Watch has called the prisons of Papua New Guinea some of the worst in the world. The accused often wait for years before their case is called before the courts, and often many plea guilty to avoid the long wait.

This small prison nestled in the mountainous highlands is crowded with murders, rapists, and other criminals.
